Gaaaah we suck. Another RP scene with Emmy :iconpersephine:. This comes after her picpic Creep. The title is from something Anarei said just before this scene. As Emmy stated, we're almost storyboarding here. Yes, we know we suck. Thank you.

I know it looks like Anarei's cooing over Lear after he's run into a wall or something, but this is after he woke up from Anarei braining him with a rock. :XD: She actually tied him up and all that, just in case. His uncontrollable crying is an aftereffect of his psychotic episode. But damn, he looks like SUCH a baby.

Lear: ... *Bows his head again, lower than before* *sobs once* Anarei... gods, dear GODS. If I... snap again, I may never make it back...*Trails off*

Anarei: *leans her forehead upon his, rubbing gently at his cheeks* I'll make sure you -don't-. And if you -do-, I'll find a boulder for your head.

*Snorts and laughs* It's just so funny... and yes, we also happen to have realised that we're somewhat sick in the head.

My scanner has some deep grudge towards me, so I took a photo and photoshopped the colours and lighting and stuff so that it actually looks like the real thing, fixed the overly-red hair, then added the background.

Inked this with a calligraphy marker, coloured with my Faber-Castell AND Derwent pencils. Anarei's hair alone took me close to an hour and a half... =|

Okay. Time to start. I think I've broken your record for foaming-at-the-mouth-staring-at-computer-screen time. XDDDD

*goes back to look at the pic and wonders how to start*

...Okay, first. Anarei, I guess. XD I love how pretty you've made her! The colour of her eyes are juer perfect, and her hair; dear GODS you've drawn it so perfectly. And I wouldn't worry about the red-ness of it, if I were you. XD Like I said on MSN, hair changes colour when sunlight hits it! So now we know her hair goes a little redder when under sunlight!

And how cool is it that you've coloured her green tunic in so quickly after I drew her ref sheet? =D

Next up. Lear.

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD. ALL THAT BLOOD. All that BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BLOOD. You've drawn it so, so well! And coloured it in, too. And I especially loved where his train of tears touched and dissolved the blood; it's so..

...well, it's so you. XD

And damnit, he's stained his scarf and hair too! *wails* ANAREI! *shakes fist* NO BOULDERS.

So THAT's the colour of his coat borders. I've always imagined that they were bright yellow/gold. XD Don't ask. I think it had something to do with the whole... Edwardian-ness of it all.

And damn, Lear's face here is so... intense. You poor thing. I'm so sorry for what my girl has done; she literally BRAINED you with a rock!

*kicks Anarei away and snuggles Lear tightly, weeping* YOU POOR, POOR VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCES!

...okay. I shall now go back to gaping. Excuse me while I drool. GREAT JOB!

...y'know. I've had this page open the entire day. In between reading Esping-Anderson and freaking out, I've checked back at least ten times. XD

I SUCK.

Anyways. Sometime around my 100th glance at this picpic, I've realised something. Lear almost looks as if he's leaning into Anarei's left hand, doesn't he? The poor thing. He must be in so much pain...

And Rei's eyes look so gentle here. Despite, you know... being the one who almost cracked his skull open. *grumbles*

*still can't get over it, and just continues to stare*
