DN: Crusader

This started off as a doodle that I did over lunch and then... something something bam colour. 

Painting with the watercolour tool is fun, and easy. Much easier than airbrushing... I did agonise over the flail, though. Such mathematicalness. Such chain links. 

The gear isn't his current one, nor is his outfit; I don't even think it exists in the game as it is. It's partially inspired by the official flashy outift of the crusader class.

The context is probably the Gigantes Nest... died so so so many times in that place... le sigh. 

Next time I'll draw him with a hammuh. 

Done on Clip Studio, over two days, some amount of hours, a lot of experimentation.
